The name
Antarikṣa
In the oldest Sanskrit cosmology, existence is divided into three realms: bhūḥ (the earth), svaḥ (the heavens), and between them antarikṣa — the intermediate space. The sky. The atmosphere. The vast middle through which everything moves.
It is also the word modern India uses for outer space. That double meaning is the whole idea: a single word that is at once ancient and contemporary, spiritual and physical. We took it as our name because it is exactly the territory we work in — the space between traditions.

In Antriksa's reading, that "between" is not empty. It is where questions live — where the observed sky meets the imagined cosmos, where measurement meets meaning.

Credibility is earned through output
Intentions don't build trust — work does. We aim for peer-reviewed publication, cite primary sources, and hold ourselves to the standards of the fields we draw on.

Honesty about what we're claiming
A parallel can be structural, historical, or metaphorical. We always say which. We never claim the ancients "already knew" modern physics — and we're glad to publish a null result.

Wonder is not the enemy of science
The instinct to look up and ask "what is all this?" is what built both traditions. We protect that instinct while refusing to let it excuse sloppy thinking.

The work belongs to a community
No single discipline can do this alone. It needs physicists and Sanskritists, astronomers and philosophers, students and elders — thinking together, in the open.
